MONET at the Actaeon Museum of Art
Booklet for an imagined museum exhibition of Monet's work
This piece was a final project for one of my design classes at Emerson College, which required us to make use of Adobe Creative Suite to create a printed booklet and accompanying poster for an imaginary museum exhibit of a classic artist. We were given basic instructions regarding the dimensions and length of the final product, but the content and appearance was ours to research and design.
The booklet and poster were both laid out in InDesign, with all images being edited in Photoshop and vector components were created in Illustrator. This was an opportunity to gain practice creating documents of professional printing quality, and our lessons covered thorough overviews of modern printing processes as well as best practices for creating documents that will be sent to a professional printer.
